The trick to trust

Is trust really just a numbers game. I recently ran into a website that turned trust into a probability equation. It was a crazy experience. There’s a website (link below) what kinds of trusters are the most successful… those that trust everyone. those that trust no one. And copycats. (there were others. these are the one I can just remember.) Which one were you, and they had a game to test this theory, and give you an idea of how many winnings your type gets. It’s an interesting theory isn’t it? trust is fluid. The more trusting people are introduced to cheaters, the more cheater like they become. They lose faith in their trusting choices after getting cheated so many times. Which makes trust a sort of quantum mechanicesque communal kind of thing that bounces around the culture. With ebbs of higher and lower trust within the community depending on interpersonal interactions., Which is impossible to precisely predict, but you can guess what’s probable. Which is well-known key property of predicting the movement of electrons, in quantum physics. It’s interesting how similar idea’s reverberate throughout the universe and behavior. And ability to trust. Which is really a really interesting way to think about human interactions and story telling.
